Andrew joined McKinsey after nearly 30 years with ExxonMobil, where he held several senior leadership roles, including president of ExxonMobil Trading Asia Pacific and SVP of SeaRiver Maritime, an international shipping business. With broad operational and commercial expertise, Andrew now oversees our commodity trading and risk strategies across the Americas and internationally within the energy sector.
Andrew has led transformational change in both sales and trading organizations and manufacturing businesses. He has been responsible for new market entries and the development and implementation of disruptive consumer offer models. His extensive experience includes designing new trading organizations, developing execution plans across oil, gas, chemicals, and metals, and implementing risk characterization and optimization strategies.
Andrew holds an Honors Degree in Engineering from Melbourne University in Australia and an MBA from Deakin University, also in Melbourne, Australia. He has completed several executive programs at Harvard, Columbia, and the Thunderbird Business School. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys engaging in community service and exploring new cultures, having lived and worked in Australia, Papua New Guinea, the United States, and Singapore.
