Sélim focuses on unlocking private investments through innovative arrangements that enable governments to grow new economic sectors, deliver higher quality infrastructure and services to citizens, and drive overall economic growth. His investment expertise includes deal facilitation and funding as well as designing infrastructure-financing models. He serves a range of organizations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) including government agencies, sovereign wealth funds, regulators, and real-estate developers.
Sélim’s recent client projects include the following:
- supporting government agencies to help generate incremental investments across industries, including defining ambitious incentive programs
- helping set up and define the mandate and pipeline of more than five development funds across infrastructure, industry, social infrastructure, and culture
- developing the public-private partnership roadmap for a country across its sectors
- designing and executing a pathfinder public-private partnership on behalf of a public-sector education authority for a country
- defining the end-to-end partnership and funding approach for a large real estate organization in the Middle East
Before joining McKinsey, Sélim spent time working within a finance and economy ministry office.
