Jose Queijo

Director of Client CapabilitiesDallas

Leads the Dallas Client Capabilities Hub, helping clients and colleagues innovate with a focus on design and analytics

Jose joined the McKinsey Lisbon office as an associate in 2006. In his time with the firm, he worked with the Financial Services Practice in Europe and Africa, and with public-sector clients in Africa and other emerging markets.

Jose briefly left the firm to work on corporate strategy, technology strategy, business development, and transformation initiatives with several companies in the United States.

Since then, Jose has led efforts to create positive enduring change, and some of his recent client work includes the following:

  • assisting in a multiyear transformation project to modernize the tax administration organization, people, and processes in a sub-Saharan country
  • guiding the transformation of a global enterprise into a more client-centric corporation while shifting from content provider to solution provider, accelerating growth in the process
  • defining and implementing a cell and gene therapies strategy to drive growth in the oncology network for US clients

Jose is passionate about developing and mentoring people, transforming operations, and driving growth, all attributes which led to him rejoin the firm and the Client Capabilities Hub in Dallas.

Jose lives with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he likes to explore mountain trails on his bike, develop new cooking skills, and travel.
