Marc is a partner in McKinsey’s Munich office and a leader in the global energy and materials sector in EMEA. Marc serves clients on performance transformations, with a particular focus on digital procurement as well as manufacturing and supply chain optimization. Since joining McKinsey in 2013, he has been spearheading numerous high-impact initiatives, driving significant improvements and efficiencies for clients.

- setting up a site services strategy for a German chemical company with a global footprint
- creating a global supply chain and working capital excellence program for a global chemical company
- supporting material cost optimization with focus on raw material categories for a specialty chemicals company
- supporting an end-to-end material cost optimization for raw materials and indirect categories like technical equipment, maintenance services, and packaging for a global packaging company
- helping manage the post-merger integration of two chemicals companies, focusing on governance and unearthing procurement synergies
