Patrick is an associate partner at McKinsey and a leader within McKinsey’s Battery Accelerator Team. He serves clients along the automotive value chain from battery materials to OEMs, with a deep focus on executing holistic transformations and implementing electrification value chain strategies.
Patrick designs strategies to help incumbents and disruptors adapt to electrification. He brings front-line experience in establishing partnership agreements from mine to battery pack. Patrick built deep expertise in the battery value chain through site visits and negotiations around the globe as the battery-systems procurement lead for a global OEM. He focuses on the product development, procurement, and capital challenges of bringing new battery platforms to market on time, on cost, and on schedule.
Patrick’s work centers on helping clients preserve cash through operational efficiencies to invest in scalable electrification value chains that react to new technologies and customer needs.
Patrick has designed and executed holistic performance transformations for high-growth manufacturers in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, refined value-chain partnership strategies, and optimized material-cost sourcing for battery cells and materials.

Patrick lives in the Detroit area with his wife and son. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, boating, and swimming in the Michigan lakes with his family.
