Sarah advises organizations across sectors on topics related to trade facilitation, resilience and the impact of digitization and automation on cross-border movements. Her clients include governments in multiple geographies, as well as transport, logistics, and infrastructure companies. Collaborating with both top executives as well as senior civil servants, Sarah helps leaders in the private and public sectors on some of their most complex problems, ranging from strategy to organizational transformation.

Examples of her work include the following:

  • developing the business case for a logistics company to launch a new business focused on Internet of Things (IoT) devices
  • supporting a government client in developing its national customs and border strategy, as well as associated operating models
  • helping a government client model the operational impact at ports of changing trade flows
  • supporting the merger of two digital logistics companies by developing a new organizational structure and operating model
  • working with a government client to design a blueprint to reduce customs revenue leakage through both technology and nontechnology-enabled initiatives

Sarah first joined McKinsey in Dubai before moving to the United Kingdom.
