François co-leads McKinsey's work in the retail industry in Europe, and specializes in growth strategies and transformations

François is a partner based in Paris, with over 20 years of experience in consulting, advising Boards and Executive Committees.

As a leader in our Retail practice, he focuses on designing growth strategies– both organic and M&A –and driving end-to-end transformations through omnichannel and eCommerce acceleration, customer value proposition reinvention, and digitally enabled team performance. François serves companies in various consumer industries ranging from retail (specialty retail, grocery, B2B wholesale) and consumer goods (luxury, beauty, food and beverages) to food service (quick service restaurants, catering).

Prior to joining McKinsey, François led the think tank “the Future of Stores” in collaboration with the Dubai 2020/2021 Universal Exposition, authoring a series of articles to build the voice of France on the future of retail.

During his consulting career, François acted as Chief Transformation Officer ad interim of a PE-backed B2B wholesaler for one year. He began his professional career in M&A and venture capital.
