Mark has almost 15 years of experience supporting private- and public-sector clients as they improve performance, focusing on the creative and efficient integration of technology. Since joining McKinsey in 2006, he has helped a mix of private-sector technology companies and government agencies navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by digital disruption.

In the private sector, Mark serves leading technology clients with strategy, sales and marketing, merger management, and organizational design.

In the public sector, Mark is a founding leader of McKinsey’s Digital and Value Assurance Practices, and helps federal and state agencies with digital strategy, digital transformation, agile development, and large-scale program management. In this role, Mark has led our knowledge efforts focused on the following:

  • developing digital strategies and enterprise-wide digital transformation programs
  • designing and setting up large technology programs for success
  • assessing and turning around troubled programs

In his role prior to joining McKinsey, Mark primarily supported clients’ large-scale IT-modernization efforts.
